Our Project

IN ENGLISH

The project is planned to be realized in a frame of co-operation of Williams Syndrome Associations of V4 countries.

The goal of the international camp is an integrated development program to increase the chance of handicapped youth for equal opportunities and to share our best practices with our partners. With involving the V4 countries we can produce international, non-formal educational activities, promoting a better understanding of the diversity of our common European culture and shared heritage, as well as of our common basic values.

The program of the camp will provide possibility to learn from each other history and work together on development of the future of Williams Associations.

The 8 days of concentrated therapy improving the facilitation - rehabilitation of these people with

accumulated disabilities will promote their social reintegration and recreation for the handicap

members. We just finished the big project of “Leaving the Nest”, a complex training program for disabled young people and their parents for increasing the autonomy and the independency through work and practical tasks of event organisation. We would like to share our experiences and exchange the best practices with our V4 partners.

It will give opportunities for free expression of their sense of solidarity, and will help to eliminate all

forms of discrimination and to compensate their social disadvantages.

The planned programmes briefly(timetable is attached to the documentation):

- ’Leaving the Nest’ programmes for youth participants over 16 yrs.:

-   event organizing practice on children programmes, tearooms

-   practicing everyday work activities, household chores

-   group discussions on related topics,

- special swimming, hydrotherapy, gymnastic with physiotherapy, sensomotor training, music therapy

- orientation tour in the city

- country presentations and folk dance party

- common concert

- practical workshops and outdoor community building events for parents

Photos and videos will document all our events.

It will be a follow up meeting at national levels and one at international level in the European Federation

of Williams Syndrome (FEWS) to disseminate our experiences with our fellows with the same

difficulties. Our experiences will be shared on the project website as well.

IN SLOVAK

Maďarská spoločnosť Williamsovho syndrómu pripravuje s finančnou podporou Višegrádskeho fondu medzinárodný tábor pre ľudí s Williamsovým syndrómom z krajín V4. Cieľom je zlepšovať kvalitu života pacientov so zriedkavým Williamsovým syndrómom. Organizátori tábora pripravujú program s edukačnými a rehabilitačnými aktivitami, ktoré boli ocenené v rámci EU. Účastníci tábora z Maďarska, Slovenska, Česka a Poľska budú mať možnosť nadviazať nové priateľstvá, prezentovať svoju krajinu a získať vedomosti o kultúre a histórii krajín V4.

IN CZECH

Maďarská Asociace Williamsova syndromu získala finanční prostředky na projekt, jehož cílem bude sdílení dobré praxe v oblasti zlepšování kvality života pacientů se vzácným onemocněním v zemích Visegradské čtyřky. V rámci tohoto projektu se od 7 do 14. července 2013 uskuteční v Maďarsku, u jezera Balaton, tábor pro mladé lidi s Williamsovým syndromem ze čtyř zemí Visegradu. Mladí lidé s touto diagnózou budou mít možnost vyzkoušet si nové  postupy a aktivity, v rámci neformálního vzdělávání získají informace o tom, jak se žije lidem s podobným postižením v ostatních zemích. Součástí aktivit bude i sportovní vyžití, rehabilitace a rekondice, a také možnost vyzkoušet si různé terapie (ergoterapii, muzikoterapii, trénink jemné motoriky apod). Mladí lidé s Williamsovým syndromem by měli mít možnost poznat úspěch, získat více sebevědomí, dokázat si, že na spoustu věcí "mají". Nedílnou součástí tábora bude i navázání nových kontaktů a přátelství. Mezi doprovodné aktivity bude patřit i fotografická soutěž, vítězné fotografie budou představeny na podzim 2013 na navazující výstavě.

Projekt spotkania osób z Zespołem Williamsa z krajów należących do V4 został zainicjowany przez  Węgierskie Stowarzyszenie Zespołu Williamsa. Dzięki ich projektowi otrzymali fundusze na zorganizowanie w dniach 7-14 lipca 2013 Zjazdu Osób z Zespołem Williamsa z Węgier, Słowacji, Czech i Polski.Z wielkim entuzjazmem czekamy na to międzynarodowe spotkanie, podczas którego planowanych jest mnóstwo aktywności fizycznych i wspólnych zajęć rekreacyjnych. Każdy z uczestników będzie miał okazję zaprezentować swój kraj i kulturę a także podzielić się doświadczeniami w radzeniu sobie z chorobą. Ogromnie cenna jest dla nas możliwość nawiązania kontaktów i przyjaźni. Chociaż pochodzimy z różnych stron wiele nas łączy. Z przyjemnością po powrocie podzielimy się wrażeniami i zdjęciami!

IN HUNGARIAN

A súlyosan beteg, hátrányos helyzetű emberkék számára szeretnénk a már hagyománnyá vált nyári családi fejlesztő táborát a 4 visegrádi országgal együttműködésben szervezzük. Ezek a fiatalok  mozgásosan, szervileg és mentálisan is érintettek, de szociálisan és érzelmileg fantasztikus képességekkel rendelkező, csodálatos fiatalok.

Idén a Visegrádi Alapnak köszönhetően szlovák, cseh és lengyel csapatok is érkeznek hozzánk, hogy egymás jobb megismerésével erősítsük a már meglévő kapcsolatokat, felfedezzük, megtanuljuk egymás jó gyakorlatait.

A tervezett gazdag program ezért rengeteg új elemmel bővül, ami lehetővé teszi, hogy élményeken keresztül fejlődjenek, tanuljanak a résztvevők. Fantasztikus kalandokat élhetnek át védett környezetben, koncentrálva az önálló élethez szükséges készségek fejlesztésére. Szeretnénk megosztani a partnereinkkel az éppen befejeződött "Fészekhagyó" programunk tapasztalatait, mely 22 értelmi sérült fiatal és családja önálló életre és a munkavállalásra való felkészítését tűzte ki feladatául. A projekt során a résztvevő fiatalok havi rendszerességű önálló élet tréningeken vettek részt, illetve rendezvényszervezést tanulva, egy rendezvényszervező csoportot hoztak létre. A tábor folyamán lehetőséget adunk, hogy megismerkedjenek kulturális és természeti kincseinkkel is. E programjaink nagy része nem csak a külföldi vendégeinknek lesz újdonság, hiszen ezeken a helyszíneken mindezidáig a hagyományos táboraink alatt nem látogathattunk el. A program megvalósításában számos önkéntes önzetlenül segíti munkánkat és a komplex programjainkhoz legkedvezőbb áron alkalmazkodó helyet kerestük meg. Sokaknak ez a támogatott lehetőség az egyetlen esély a családi kikapcsolódásra, a hiánypótló fejlesztések igénybevételére.
